- Take time to appreciate the sunrise and/or sunset today
- Be thankful for and enjoy every bite of your meal
- Be grateful for the job you have and your ability to contribute value to others
- Be present in the moment
- Be thankful for parents who did their best and helped make you who you are today
- Take time to fully enjoy the goals you have reached
- Be grateful for the beauty of creation all around you
- Tell your spouse and/or children how much you love them
- Be glad you have a warm coat to wear in cold weather
- Think of someone you can surprise with a word of affirmation today
- Acknowledge a kindness done for you
- Be thankful for the friends who never leave
- Embrace the uniqueness of who you are
- Special moments with family and friends are priceless gifts to be enjoyed
- When the day is done, be thankful for a warm place to sleep
- Be thankful you are not where you were, and not where you will be
- Write a handwritten note to express your appreciation to a family member
- Be grateful today for those who lay down their lives in service to others
- Take a moment to appreciate your ability to see, to taste, to hear, to feel
- Be thankful for where you have been; it makes you who you are
- Consider at all that is good in your life
- There is hope for tomorrow when you live with gratitude today.
